Ekberg takes victory
Saturday’s event on the Glenaroua Schoolhouse Hill course was a sealed handicap. Some 20 riders showed up to compete the race over 40 kilometres. Rob Ekberg, with a net time of 59 minutes, won the event from junior rider Tom Madden. Another of the Club’s juniors, Dane O’Keefe, was third. Alan Adams rode the fastest gross time for the course of 62.05 minutes.
