- The initial six-man break had a good lead.
- Another rider tried to move up to the break as the race went through the wine region in northern Italy.
- Marco Bandiera (G.S. Zalf Désirée Fior) won as the field split up at the last little uphill.
- The peloton waits at the start line for things to get going in the 2007 edition.
- The German National Team (red jerseys) riding on the front early on, as riders point out the left turn to others. Safety first.
- Bandiera held down Finetto and Zanasca in the uphill sprint.
