Race 8 - August 11: Pro / Semi Pro 4X - Finals,

Eric Carter (Mongoose) added the 2007 national series title to his 2004 world championship and 2006 national championship titles. After starting the series with two second places, Carter finished up with an eighth place at Snowmass, which was enough to comfortably secure the series win ahead of Amiel Cavalier (Giant). Jared Rando (Giant / Michelin) ended up third in the series, with Ross Milan (Yeti/Fox) fourth and Luke Strobel (Maxxis) fifth. Strobel is the only one of these top five series finishers to have actually won a round.

Just like in the downhill, no rider came close to Melissa Buhl in the 4X/Dual Slalom series. Buhl thus completed a sweep of the pure gravity disciplines. Buhl adds another title to her national championship wins from 2002 and 2005. Joanna Petterson held onto second place in the series, with her team-mate, Jackie Harmony in third. Fourth was Jessica Vogt (Dainese/Gamut) and Wendy Reynolds (Bear Naked/Cannondale) was fifth.
