Frank Vandenbroucke out of Worlds
Frank Vandenbroucke will not start in the road race for the
World Championships in San Sebastian. The Mapei-GB
sports director, Patrick Lefevre, says his rider is
not happy with his form.
This comes after a 3 races in Italy which were designed to exam his condition.
Cyclo Cross Opens at Wingene
Marc Janssens won the first A grade Cyclo Cross race in Wingene. In a fast
race, Janssens was the quickest of 50 starters.
He led all the way and built a good gap on second placegetter,
Peter Willemsens, with Rudy Van De Sompel finishing in 3rd place
