Veggerby-Madsen still in the lead (by one point)

Three teams on the same lap, the difference between first and second is one single point and a further three teams one lap behind, so it's still wide open in the Stuttgart Six day with only two nights to go.

Bremen winners Martinello-Villa are two laps behind, but they are very close on points and still in with a chance.

Hot In The City -- But France Given The OK

I had a nice file prepared for all you guys and gals, but some jerk walked off with my briefcase in a bar in the City of London this evening. The disk was in it. Worse, credit cards and a diary with lots of contact information and some precious photos. No big deal, I didn't get mugged. I've cancelled the credit cards and even better I've already received an ansaphone message that the diary (minus brief case -- and credit cards, of course) has been handed in at a rail station.

The essence of the main story: ALL SIX PROSPECIVE FRENCH PRO TEAMS HAVE FULFILLED THE REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS. Of these, the so-far unnamed team managed by Vincent Lavenu is to be sponsored by a company called Casino. There was also a report on my disk (in the series "French teams") on Aubervilliers 93-Peugeot. Sorry, I can say no more on this, the thief took both disk and L'Equipe.

Well, I guess he/she dumped them, I don't think he/she'll post them on (alt.silly old bastard.soft touch. rob them).....
