World Record Falls in Australia

  New Junior Mens U/19 4000m Teams Pursuit Worlds Record of 4 mins
  10.10 seconds.

  South Australian Riders Luke Roberts, Matthew Meaney, Luke Kuss and
  Tim Lyons shattered the 4:16.56 set earlier this year in Italy to
  ride 4:10.10. Fifth team member Matthew Sparnon and coach Ian
  McKenzie congratulated each other and the team after the successfull
  attempt. (see event 11 for splits)

16TH ANNUAL GREAT FINGER LAKES BICYCLE RIDE MAY 10-12, 1996

  Two day tour from WGSP Group Camp, 3 miles from Watkins Glen, NY, at
  the end of NY 329 (off NY 14, near Burger King, at traffic light).

  SAT:  Multiple options from 0 to 72 miles.  Finger Lakes National
  Forest, Odessa, Trummansburg, Ovid, Wagner Winery in Lodi.
  Purchased wine delivered to the group camp before dinner.

  SUN: 16 miles of hills or 54 miles of rolls.  Tyrone, Savona,
  Coopers Plain, Monterey.

  ACCOMMODATIONS: Your sleeping bag on a bunk in a cabin ($4 fee) or
  in your tent (FREE). Spacious lawns for tenting.  Bathrooms,
  showers. Dining hall for social and meals.

  FEE INCLUDES: $35 pays for Friday 9-11 social, tenting Fri and Sat
  nights, Sat wakeup coffee and pastries, Sat dinner, Sun breakfast,
  maps, sag, repair service, water bottle, parking.  Sat breakfast and
  Sat & Sun lunch are NOT included and are obtained along the route.

Brescialat for 1996 - Piccoli leader

   Brescialat has presented their line-up for 1996. The team has split in
two when Flavio Giupponi and Bruno Leali (direttore sportivo in 1995) went
with new sponsor Banco di Roma taking along nine riders. Mariano Piccoli,
best climber overall and stage winner in the Giro '95, is new team leader.
Zenon Jaskula will reinforce the team together with promising 24-year old
Alessandro Bertolini.

   Staying: Mariano Piccoli, Luca Gelfi, Fabrizio Bontempi, Marco Milesi,
Mauro Radaelli, Fausto Dotti.

   New: Alessandro Bertolini (ex-Carrera), Zenon Jaskula (Pol, ex Aki),
