Cipo over Ullrich?
The announcement on May 19 of the four remaining wildcard entries for this
year's Centenary Tour de France left out World Road Champion Mario Cipollini
and the Domina Vacanze squad.
Cyclingnews has been inundated with emails from readers wanting to comment
on the exclusion of Domina Vacanze, however, all is not lost as the Tour de
France organisers have left the door open to invite a 22nd team to the Tour.
So, who should it be? Mario's Domina Vacanze squad, or the team of 1997 TdF
winner Jan Ullrich, the financially-challenged Team Bianchi/Coast, which
is currently suspended by the UCI.
The survey has closed, and we'll publish the results shortly afterwards.
