Eurobike showGermany, August 31-September 4, 2005Main Page Previous Part Next Part Part 8 - Selle Italia, Lake & De RosaLake Takes The CakeLake has launched perhaps the most innovative cycling footwear design in years with three new models, the CX 400 road, MX 400 MTB and CX 410 triathlon shoe. All three shoe styles use an "Integrated Carbon Stability Platform", which custom-fits a moulded carbon sole to a high-quality upper made in K-lite natural kangaroo leather, with a BOA micro-adjust closure system. Lake dealers are trained to custom fit the shoes - dubbed Custom Fit Carbon - platform so each rider has footwear uniquely created for his or her feet. Pretty & PreciousSelle Italia has a super-exclusive saddle called Preziosa, destined for only 200 special posteriors in 2006. With a beautiful 18K gold lamination on the cover and a svelte weight of 185 grams, each Preziosa has a silver badge underneath where the name of the owner will be engraved. De RosaDe Rosa launched three significant new models at Eurobike, the Protos, Avant and a revamped Dual. The new top model De Rosa Protos is made from unidirectional carbon fibre and has evolved from the Prototype 1 model Stefano Garzelli rode in the 2004 Giro d'Italia. Protos is one of the few carbon fibre bicycles on the market that can be made to measure. Avant!Avant is De Rosa's new mid range carbon fibre monocoque road bike, inspired by the King, with the always elegant De Rosa look. Definitely DualAll new for 2006, De Rosa has re-styled its famous aluminium Dual with the addition of a hydroformed main triangle in aluminium. Shown here in an attractive orange and black colorway with new De Rosa carbon fibre seatpost and special Fizik Aliante saddle.
