Eurobike Awards New For 2005

For the first time this year, Eurobike has created a design awards program
that looks the quality, innovation and functionality of bicycles and bicycle
products. On Wednesday afternoon, the winners were honored in a prize presentation
where all of the selected products were displayed at the Friedrichshafen Messe:
Here are a few of the prize winners in various categories:
Deuter Attack backpack

Gold Winner: Deuter Attack back protection rucksack
A cool rucksack for mountain bikers, the Deuter Attack has special protective
internal padding and an arched back for better fit, extra wide fins on

This unique kids bike from BMW is both a push bike and a pedal bike.
BMW's Bob Bobinger told Cyclingnews that "kids can learn to balance
on the push bike and when they are ready to ride a real bike, you just
bolt on the drive train and they can ride right away!"
