Trek's latest release of its high-end OCLV carbon fibre frame bikes was the 5900 USPS Team Superlight, featuring the frame was used by Lance Armstrong in this year's Tour de France and said to be the "lightest, stiffest frame ever made", according to the company. The frame itself weighs in at 2.27 pounds, while the 5500 and 5200 frames each weigh 2.4 pounds. BTW: OCLV stands for Optimum Compaction Low Void carbon. On the 5900, there is 110 grams of carbon fibre per square metre.
