And the winner is: Richard Bryne from Speedplay. His custom Titanium bike featuring a custom Bill Holland frame, carbon/Ti everything but still with 20 gears courtesy of Campagnolo, weighed a feathery 10.5 pounds. It had to be lifted to be believed. The bike also featured's Speedplay's new Zero pedals, which offer adjustable or fixed float. Apart from developing the company's pedals, Bryne also designed and built Speedplay's impressive booth at Interbike, and he also introduced a new range of luggage.
