Aimed at the well-heeled babyboomer market are bikes
such as this nicely-presented pavement cruiser from Trek's Klein brand, with
Dura Ace tripleset, Bontrager wheels and comfy saddle. Just the thing for
civilised rides to the coffee shop. Dick Moran, Trek's marketing director,
said 'pavement' was the fastest-growing sector in the US for Trek, a comment
echoed by other execs.
