The bike on your left is a regular mountainbike.
Facing it on the right is one of Gary Fisher's new 29" wheel models,
the Supercaliber 29. Fisher chose 700C rims with larger rubber, making the
overall size 29". According to Fisher, the larger diameter wheels roll
"over everything smoother and faster". The bikes are now in production,
as they require new framesets.
