Flighty aluminium from Cannondale. Not to be outdone, Cannondale also showed off its new CAAD7 frame which was built with hollowed out cranks, carbon wheels, handlebars and seatpost. At least the saddle had some padding. It tipped the scales at 13.75 pounds. The CAAD7 will be the first to use a custom alloy mix; previously, all Cannondale's used 6061-T6 aluminium.
