Giant TCR-1

Built around the carbon fiber frame that T-Mobile (The Team Formerly Known as Telekom) will be riding in 2004, the TCR-1 boasts a carbon fiber seatpost and stem plus FSA's Carbon Pro carbon fiber crankset.

A Shimano Ultegra group provides the gears and brakes while the whole package rolls on Michelin Pro race tyres wrapped round Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels.

Specialized Turbo Pro

The Turbo Pro computer features just about every function you could wish for. Its three-line screen includes a 16mm primary display, 8mm secondary and dot-matrix function indicators. Its main functions run from a wireless sensor, though to add the cadence function you do have to plug in a wire from a sensor on the chainstay.

The full list of functions goes like this: second wheel option, altimeter, altitude gain, thermometer, cadence, average cadence, maximum cadence, inclinometer, backlight, current speed, maximum speed, average speed, interval timer, clock, distance countdown, odometer, trip distance, auto time, stopwatch.

The whole shebang is encased in a water resistant housing and the Turbo Pro has a two year warranty.

Rudy Project Freeon eyewear

With eight different lens colours Rudy Project's Freeon glasses look to have a shade for every occasion. Features include "Quick Change" interchangeable wrap around lens in UV-blocking polycarbonate, 'Kynetium' temples - an aluminum alloy incorporating magnesium, silicon and titanium for strength, light weight, and flexibility and adjustable rubber ear pieces and 'ErgnonoseII' nose piece.

Inova 24/7

Not strictly a piece of cycling kit, the Inova 24/7 is a multipurpose LED lamp that can be pressed into service for all sorts of uses. Its ring of eight LEDs comprises four white, two red and two amber, and its switch (incorporated into the black bezel round the LEDs) provides eight modes: low power white, high power white, signal stroke, SOS beacon, three-colour distress strobe, two-colour emergency beacon, night vision red and locator beacon.

The back of the 24/7 light has a steel mounting clip and the optional accessory kit includes a headband, neck lanyard, magnetic mount and wall mounts.
