Glowbag Grand Triang
Need to get seen? British company Glowbag's Grand Triang is a convertible
shoulder bag-cum-rucksack in trendy 'record bag' stylee, with a reflective
logo and a couple of gert big slabs of retro-reflective fabric so taxi
drivers and their ilk can see you in the dark. (We won't be cynical and
suggest it'll just give them something to aim for.)
A laptop fits comfortably in the padded main compartment, which also
has a waterproof protective flap, and there's a zip-up outer pocket for
all your other stuff.
RRP: UK£40

Squirt lube

Squirt lube
Squirt is a new wax-based chain lube, developed in South Africa by Greenwall
Imports. "Our aim was to develop a lube that will last and not pick up
dust and sand and won't form a grinding paste on a pitch-black chain,"
Greenwall's Hennie Scheepers told Cyclingnews. "We approached South
Africa's largest petroleum and lubrication producer to develop a product
for us. Testing took place first in the laboratory and then in the field
over a period of six months. Fritz Pienaar, South Africa's three-times-in-a-row
MTB champion did most of our field testing."
Scheepers claims Squirt doesn't separate or clog and contains an additive
that allows it to withstand extreme pressures over long lubrication intervals.
