Oost west thuis best!

By Cody Stevenson

Hello everyone,

Well, I've been home a week now... and what a week it has been!

I have managed to fit in: racing, training, odd jobs, fixing my car (I do have an Alfa... silly me!), going back to work at Panther Cycles, and a quick trip to the doctor, who basically told my body is worn out... time for a break!

The season was better for me this year, and also for the team on a whole. I think we all stepped up a level and became more competitive. I'm in a state of limbo at the moment, change of place, people and the realisation of what I have just done and what I want to do.

Thanks to everyone who has supported the team and me personally this year, the feedback here in OZ has been great since I returned as well, and thanks to the team who made my little adventure pleasurable. I will keep all and sundrie posted, but for now I think I will slip back into the life of a normal 24 year-old, and see how the 'normal' half live.

I can just hear them: "You rode your bike how far this year?, stone the crows ya flamin' mongrel, fair dinkum"... ahhh - it's good to be home!

Cheers,
Cody
