World MTB Championships

The World MTB Championships were held in Mont-Sainte-Anne (Canada) and the Dutch downhiller Gerwin Peters won a silver medal. But the rest of the Dutch team didn't do so badly either. The Belgians won two bronze medals - Roel Paulissen and Filip Meirhaeghe

World Championships in Limburg

The World Championships in Limburg which culminated with the Elite Road Race on Sunday October 11 was a great success even though some of the top riders in the peloton were absent. Here is a Report from the front.

Monique Knol - A Consultation with the Doping Doctor

After the arrest of Festina Willy Voet after he was found to have a car full of dope and the events that followed during the Tour de France the questions have been asked about the extent of doping in cycling. Monique Knol went to Limburg to talk to one of the doping experts In the Netherlands, Doctor Lon Schattenberg.

Finally success for Olano

In the small tour he has been able to gain victory with strong time trial performances, but in the three grand tours Abraham Olano has not had much success. But this year he changed all that with a victory in the Vuelta a Espaņa.
