Bob Varney (Alpha RC-Phil Corley Cycles) and Bob Richards, back in his original colours of Solihull CC, won their respective races at the fourth meeting of the LVRC 'King of the Bowl' series last Tuesday. Varney had left his breakaway partner Joe Quill (Team Milton Keynes) with five laps remaining to win alone, whilst Richards attacked early from his group and closed across the gap to the younger riders to win convincingly. Both men lead overall in their respective categories.
