Anastopoulos win 13th Tour of Hellas

After many years, a Greek cyclist has finally won the Tour of Hellas: Vassilis Anastopoulos, riding for the Austrian TT3 team Volksbank Ideal, managed to stave off the attacks of the Bulgarians in the final hilly stage from Ancient Olympia City to Megalopolis. The battle between Anastopoulos and Tchanliev helped Jaromir Friede (Ceska Sporitelna) to attack and win the stage, taking 3rd place overall. Vassilis Anastopoulos celebrated his win in his birth place (Megalopolis), in front of his family, friends, and excited crowd.
There was a change in the final stage in the U23 Classification, and the final holder of the "White Jersey" was the 21 year old Bulgarian Daniel Petrov.
