Stage 3 - May 22: La Seu d'Urgell - Ascó "La Vostra Energia", 217.2km

The third stage will be a nice respite for the tired sprinters, who can enjoy an predominantly downhill stage. Despite being the longest day, at 217.2 kilometres, the distance will fly by as the race heads southwest toward flatter land. Just one obstacle will stand in the way of a bunch sprint: the Alt de Paumeras - a painful 9% climb which, at 8.6 kilometres and just 20 kilometres from the line, will make for a desperate chase to Ascó for anyone left behind on the climb.
