Arndt takes stage, Wood moves into the lead

The tables turned for T-Mobile during the stage three's 3.5 kilometre Individual Time Trial when Judith Arndt won the circuit in a time of four minutes and six seconds, just milliseconds ahead of Dotsie Bausch (Colavita/Sutter Home) and Trixi Worrack (Equipe Nurnberger). Despite finishing down the order in 12th, Australia's Oenone Wood (T-Mobile) gained all the seconds she needed to take over the Tour du Grand Montreal yellow leader's jersey.
The circuit brought back memories of the days when it was used as the event's prologue, but this time the rules were changed to not include aero equipment. Oenone Wood (T-Mobile) commented on her teams winning performance. "Obviously Judith is always such a strong Time Trialist so it is no surprise that she won this morning," Wood said. "It is a great position we are in now and we have a very strong team here, everyone is working really hard."
