Stage 2 - June 11: Bremgarten - Einsiedeln, 155.9 km

Day two of the Tour de Suisse is again likely to suit the sprinters. Just under 100 kilometres after the start in Bremgarten the riders will encounter the fourth cat Ried ascent and then, thirty kilometres later, they will top the category three Schindellegi. Between the two climbs lies the first bonus sprint at Rapperswil (115 km), with the next coming just after the first passage of the finish line in Einsiedeln. One that 22.2 kilometre finishing circuit is completed, it will most likely be bunch gallop time again. However aggressive riders who don’t have the legspeed of Boonen, Bettini, McEwen and Zabel will try to strike for home a lot earlier in the 155 kilometre stage.
