Stage 2 - Thursday, January 19: Stirling - Hahndorf, 146km

While the riders will be making history in the saddle fans can enjoy some South Australian history as the third stage travels through the quaint towns that dot the Adelaide Hills. Stirling hosts the start and from there it’s only 17km to the climb up Church Hill Rd, Echunga.

Both of today’s sprints will be at Woodside as the race completes three laps out and back to the finish line in Hahndorf. In Hahndorf fans can catch the race action and in between laps sample the delights of this historic town. Enjoy lunch, stock up on traditionally made wursts and German smallgoods, or wander the museums, galleries and a host of interesting shops as you wait for the peloton to complete the distance.
