Stage 21 - Sunday, September 18: Madrid-Madrid, 136.5 km
Like the other two Grand Tours, the Vuelta gives the sprinters a chance to strut their stuff for the big crowds on the final stage. A flat procession into Madrid will be wound up with a sprint finish in the capital. By now the final result should be known and riders will be absolutely exhausted after what is a really tough race, so GC riders are going to leave the finish to a hyperactive breakaway or sprint so they can quietly roll in and enjoy the view.
