The parcours
The 248 km parcours of the 99th Giro di Lombardia is a almost identical to last year's, beginning in the Swiss town of Mendrisio, on the edge of Lake Lugano. The course then winds its way north and around Lake Como, passing over the climbs of Bivio per Porlezza (km 60.9), Premana (km 133.4), Madonna del Ghisallo (km 201.7), Civiglio (km 230.3) and the steep San Fermo della Battaglia (km 240.3).
