Tour of Britain - 2.1Great Britain, August 30-September 4, 2005Main Page Results Previous Stage Next Stage Stage 4 - September 2: Buxton - Nottingham, 195kmBy Shane Stokes After the climbing exertions of the day before, this stage seems to be one made for the sprinters. Three third category climbs feature, but the general consensus is that the fastmen of the race should have their day in Nottingham. The first of these climbs come at Cromford (30.6 km), followed by a cash prime at Duffield (50.9 km) and a sprint at Derby (61.1 km). Following the day’s feed at the 101 kilometre point, more sprints follow at Loughborough (114.8 km) and Leicester (133.2 km), then two category three climbs in quick succession, Ab Kettleby (160.8 km) and Upper Brighton (166.9 km). From this point there is a slightly downhill run into the finish at Nottingham and, in all likelihood, a thundering bunch finish. Stage MapStage Profile
