From 11am Elder Park hosts the Great Aussie Barbeque, a fantastic event at the heart of the day’s racing.

The Adelaide circuit has many great vantage points and a tonne of action. Fast and exciting racing starts at 1pm and finishes 18 laps later on the main street through Adelaide, King William Road. The route then loops up into North Adelaide, via the famous Adelaide Oval and Memorial Drive Tennis Centre.

Popular spots to watch include the base of Colonel Light’s statue at Montefiore Hill where riders will compete for the race’s final Laubman & Pank King of the Mountain points and spectators enjoy unparalleled views over Adelaide. Or line up beside the Festival Theatre or Torrens Parade grounds or walk down after a coffee on O’Connell or Melbourne Streets, North Adelaide.

Come for the race, and stay for the winners’ presentations on the podium by the River Torrens.
