Hi everybody. Hey I saw the guys from Cyclingnews this morning at the stage start, but I had to get out of the chaos so I just headed back to the team bus. Today was really fast again. It seemed like it took forever for the break to get away and for things to calm down. George and I were in a group that got away today. We were just covering the moves and making sure ONCE didn't get a guy into a break.
So it ended up to be just another long, hard day at the Tour de France.
I didn't look around much today but I did see some guy riding his horse along next to the pack. That was pretty cool. But mostly I just kept my eyes on what was going on in the pack, since it hurt more to crash than to go hard.
Tomorrow we hope that things will stay pretty much the same. That ONCE and the sprinter teams will do the work and we won't have much to do. So everything is just kind of cruisin' along.
See you tomorrow,
Floyd
