Robin Baillie won the Baldonnel time trial, Thursday night, with a time of 22:03, getting closer to the magic 21:07 course record time set in 1986 by National Time Trial Champion Olav Stana.

Pat Ferris was second at 25:09 and Bob Andrews third at 26:07. Roger St. Jean was 4th at 26:09 and Les Elliot 5th at 26:41.

Matt Sparling was 6th at 26:52, Sam Keats 27:42, Colter Young 27:57, Rod Lewis 28:07 and Terry Stone 28:25 for the top ten times.

Keith Koebel was 11th at 28:35, Wim Kok 28:52, Irvin Tang 28:53, Ken Nix 29:16, Gord Harris 29:36, Barb Polehoykie 29:50, Trisha Gladysz 31:43, Eva St. Jean 35:44, Dayna Stickel 35:48 and Suzi Bach 36:10.

Lois Harris won the 8 km with 18:31. Ken and Kyle Johnson were second at 18:38, the ‘McDonnell Boys third at 18:44 and Sandra and Kelsey Johnson fourth at 18:46.

The winners of the Ferris Fast Cycles ‘Personal Best Challenge’ was Suzi Bach with an improved time of 5 minutes and ten seconds for the 16 km. Lois Harris was most improved in the 8 km with a 2:27 minute improved time. Robin Baillie won the prize for the fastest time of the night.

Late News: The Blizzard’s Irvin Tang was announced the winner from last weekends’ Dawson Creek triathlon!

Coming up: Challenge Cup race #3 is in Dawson Creek at 2 pm. The Blizzard Club is currently in the lead in Challenge Cup points.
