Robin Baillie (+HR Block) won the Baldonnel 16 km time trial Thursday night, with a time of 22:33 minutes. Pat Ferris was second at 25:45 and Roger St. Jean third at 26:05. Les Elliot was fourth at 26:52 and Rod Lewis fifthat 27:31. Colter Young was sixth at 27:44, Joseph Gladysz 28:04, Gilbert Bilodeau 28:32, Jolea Bilodeau 29:16 and Ken Nix tenth at 29:54. Barb Polehoykie was 11th at 30:09, Steve Sparling 30:20, Sam Keats 30:31, Trisha Gladysz 31:25, Owen Giebelhaus 31:37, Calvin Bell 31:38, Dayna Stickel 32:21 and Marie Young 33:14.

Cayle Bell won the eight-km with 15:09. Estelle Nix was second at 15:37, Dawn Gladysz 16:11 for third and the duo of Tania and Cassidy Bell were 4th at 19:58. The 22nd running of the Club Road Championship is happening on the Cecil Lake/ Golatta Creek circuit, Sunday at 10:00 am. The winner is the fastest rider to go the 60 km distance. Robert Martens has been the undisputed king of this event with seven straight wins. Robin Baillie and Stephen Ferris will make this version a tough one. Irvin Tang is doing the Desert Half-Ironman Triathlon in Osoyoos, BC while Wim Kok is doing the 1200 km VanIsle Ultra marathon cycling event from Victoria to Port Hardy and back.
