Robin Baillie won the Baldonnel 16 km time trial, Thursday, with a time of 22:51. Les Elliot was second at 27:40. Rod Lewis edged out Colter Young by 5 seconds to claim third with 28:50. Richard Wood was 5th at 29:19. Gord Harris was 6th at 30:03, Joseph Gladysz 30:30, Barb Polehoykie 30:41, Dean Lowry 31:26, Steve Sparling 31:28, Marie Young 33:25, Ken Nix 33:56 and Dayna Stickel 34:31.

Bob Andrews won the 8 km with 13:13. Dawn Gladysz was second at 17:04, Pat Andrews 19:30 and Diane Viens 24:21.

Last year, The Grande Prairie Wheelers out-numbered, out-muscled and out-pointed the local Blizzard squad 82 to 50 with 7 points for Dawson Creek. GP took the top five spots in the morning 16 km. time trial at Cecil Lake. Joe Radench led the way with a time of 24:00 minutes. Geoff McDonald was second at 24:47 and Steve Magusin third at 25:26. Pat Ferris was top local with 26:21 for 6th place.

GP’s Joe Radench, Steve Magusin, Blaine Richter and Geoff McDonald combined to win the afternoon 40 km. team time trial with 58:45 minutes. The Blizzard A team of Bob Andrews, Sam Keats and Pat Ferris had 1:05:35 hours for second.

The 16 km individual time trial goes at 10:00 am and the Team Time Trial is at 1 pm from the Cecil Lake gravel pull off, 4 km west of the Cecil Lake.
