The third round of the Murray Thompson scratch race series was conducted on the Seymour- Airport Rd- Seymour course, a race distance of 52km.

Twenty riders competed.

Division One: Alan Adams was too strong for Silas Fisher and Shane Edwards. Alan is riding in great form and looks the rider to beat in the series.

Division Two: Glen Christensen continues to get back in form and racked his third event win this winter, by outsprinting Jeff Hibberd and Clen Jacobs. Daryl O’Keefe and Peter Cooper were close up in the sprint finish.

Division Three: Rob Ekberg with an explosive sprint from 300m out was able to hold out Jeff Madex and Don Gee. Madex had kept the pace keen throughout the 52km, along with Jodie Johns and Kevin Bartlett, who finished fourth and fifth.

Division Four: Juniors, Tom Madden and Ethen McMennemin were too quick to the line for Kevin Swan (3rd) and Murray Thompson. Lorainne Burgess was fifth
