Southern Districts Veterans & Ladies Cycling Club

On Sunday's there were two handicap races held by the Southern District Veterans & Ladies Cycling Club. Division One finished with a hotly contested bunch sprint, 14 of the 31 starters finishing together.

Steve Buck who started off on a 3:30 handicap (chopping block) crossed the line first in a winning time of 1:36:25 seconds, recording an average speed of 38km.

Division two attracted 24 riders and Barry Taylor managed to hold off the back markers to secure the win by seven seconds.
