"IN A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY THERE LIVED TWO BOYS , THE FORCE WAS STRONG WITH THESE TWO"...They were discovered racing around the HILLS OF.....by a JEDI MASTER.....called YODA " aka RICK LEE (Do you see a resemblance)...

Yoda: Ready are you? What know you of ready? For eight hundred years have I trained Jedi. My own counsel will I keep on who is to be trained! A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind. This two a long time have I watched. All their life has they looked away. to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph! Adventure. Heh! Excitement. Heh! A Jedi craves not these things

SPENDING MANY HOURS on the terrain of the Planet PERTH riding their bikes....

Obi-Wan Kenobi: The Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together.

Darth Vader: The Force is strong with these two FOR THESE TWO KNIGHTS LAST NIGHT "DARTH VADAR STATED"....they kept an attack to relegate Jedi Jason Rigg, and Jedi Phil Riemann...to take out the prize ....JABBA wasn't terribly happy...(I need a person to play JABBA) any takers...?

Well as LORD BYRON is away in Adelaide drinking wine...the "PHANTOM MENACE" has to do his work...

A Grade

With 20 Jedi Knights showing up for the second last race of the MULTIPLEX Racing, along with two TRAVELLING Dutch JEDI ...it was going to be another night of entertainment for me....JEDI Greg Rossiter for his FIRST TIME "DARE I say it" his VIRGIN AHG RIDE.....Carlo...David James, the Gillespie family...Jedi Phil Riemann, Riggy, Gavin Wark, Rhys Sherborne, Elliott Wells, Ryan Suckling, Toddy Francis...Jason Somerville, Doug Repacholi, etc etc...

It was in the first lap that the first of the Meyer boys in Travis decided to attack, with the chase on Gillispie Senior, Francis, Riggie Gillispie Junior, trying to bridge the gap that Travis was putting into them........in only the 2nd Lap of the evening Cameron Meyer decided that he was not going to let little Jedi Trav get away, and he bridge the gap....to join him....this could have been a risky move for these two boys....to be out in front with still another 45 mins of riding left in the legs of the bunch.....

These young knights decided that they might have a chance....and riding in a truly organised fashion of swapping turns and keeping the avg speed up the boys in the 3 lap managed to get 17 sec up on the JEDI chasing them down...Wark, Riggie, Greg Rossiter the VIRGIN...all trying to pull them back...This bunch were organised and brought the two Meyer boys back within 10 seconds...and I thought with such a tough circuit ...it would be only moments before they were all playing again....that bunch consisted of Riggy , Riemann, James, Rossiter, Suckling, Pedro Turibaka.....or should he be CHEWWIE Baka....

I think the Meyers sensed that the hounds were on their heels and one of two choices had to be made...wait till they bring you back into the fold or DIG IN and find something to keep the pace up....ONE of the two groups had to show some signs of a weakened pace....and which of the two would DRAW BLOOD from their opponent first... It was soon that the Two Boys decided they could gain another 2 seconds , on the chase group....nothing much to look at in distance around the circuit...but this was the foundation ....they were laying to build a commendable lead...

At the halfway mark they were 17 seconds up...from the earlier struggle with the chase bunch...Riggy was still there pushing the pace to catch up to those two...Suckling , Warky, Riemann, Rossiter, James, CHEWWIE BAKA too....it was these six riders who had to consolidate ...they had to FIND THE FORCE ....The Meyer boys building to a 20 second lap advantage with now Riggy, Riemann, Suckling, Rossiter, James, Warky...CHEWWI BAKA Pedro was laying a bit off the pace ....when a whack from the front came he tried to cover this move but with Warky slipping back...and not realising Pedro was coming through...Pedro missed the break...
Chewbacca: Grrf.
C-3PO: I see your point, sir. I suggest a new strategy,
R2: let the Wookiee win....
TURIBAKKA it will be your turn soon....
the lead was now up to 30 seconds and on this course with only under 10 mins to go...it could prove to be a huge lead...

Greg Rossiter was not happy and whacked the boys with his LIGHT SABRE in the chase bunch...trying to split what was left of the group....
Han Solo: Well, you can forget your troubles with those Imperial slugs. I told you I'd outrun 'em. [Nobody is listening.] Don't everyone thank me at once.

Meanwhile Pedro joined me along the sideline with his commentary...Riggy stayed with him....Reimann, and Suckling , Warky trying to find the FORCE ...James joined the side lines...quoting he was " STUFFED" ...no more FORCE left in the LIGHT SABRE... ( I had to delete the expletive)...JEDI don't swear....Rossiter again gets twitchy, and whacks the boys for the second time..., Riggy finds himself able to make a move and is now out on his own...between the Meyers and Riemann & Rossiter...With the bell lap.....THE YOUNG JEDI's cross in 1st & 2nd...followed by Riggy who managed to find the FORCE....then battle of the Galaxy with Rossiter & Rieman....leaving Riemann with another podium finish...

To the guys ...fantastic riding....and as a SIDE NOTE...."Riemann is now officially off the SINGLES MARKET as of BOXING DAY"...he is now ENGAGED for a LIFE TIME SENTENCE of Marriage....CONGRATES JEDI Knight.....I hope you and YOUR PRINCESS LEIA....have many happy years together...Ben (Obi-wan) Kenobi: The Force will be with you, always.

B Grade

Well well well.....with B grade numbers dominating the circuit...we had 28 riders out there tonight...with newbies Ken LLOYD, Harry Reynolds, CHRIS HODGE , TANDEM DUO of BATMAN & ROBIN...Paulie & Lynny out on their BAT MOBILE...

From Lynnys dissection after the race it was Paul who was encouraging her to go faster and harder...during the race...(this sounded more like a bedroom conversation)...but I am not sure if Lynny blushed...but I AM SURE PAUL was talking about PEDALLING Faster and RIDING Harder....RIGHT PAUL???

very interesting.... with the YOUNG JEDI in training of Master YODA...again deciding that they would run a similar race....Master Yoda...is not afraid of teaching his YOUNG JEDI ....the ways of riding aggressively....and these Jedi also aren't afraid of some hard work....NO WHEEL SUCKING JEDI ...here....you shall be banished to ALDERAAN GALAXY to eventually be blown up by the DEATH STAR....

Tulky the 4th place rider of last week decided he would have a go with the YOUNG Jedi of Freiberg, Pattison, van der Togt, Dunlop in the first lap...Brett Russell didn't like the idea of them getting away...and he decided he would try to bring those young boys back into the bunch...and teach them to respect the OLDER JEDI....

SPECIAL MENTION" : I learned that another RIDER CHOICE JEDI is now off the MARKET....in Daniel O'Donoghue...he proposed to his SPECIAL PRINCESS ON CHRISTMAS DAY....(MEL & Dan congratulations)....DOES RIDERS CHOICE now do ENGAGEMENT RINGS...in BULK...*laughing*...okay

BACK TO RACING....with Frieberg still wanting to push the pace...along with Joseph Carreno...and Young Princess Kent having a Crack along with the Jedi boys...Russell still in their playing , and toying with the young Freiberg......There was a call that there had been a slight crash with Cameron Lockley hitting his pedals as he rounded a corner sending him gliding gracefully across the tarmac....he said he would give himself a 8 for the exececution of the Crash...and a 4 for pain...he managed to pick himself up....and get back on the bike and ride well...
van der togt, and Dunlop did well to stay out of the way , and manoeuvre past Lockley....

Brett Russell still insisting he was going to be in there at the end ....Carreno, Lockley, Freiberg, ....Interesting that many people were taking an active interest in the new rider in the B GRADE a Melville Freo boy in the Italia Kit...by the name of Steven Hedley...who apparently the weekend prior did a nice number on the B grade riders and also managed to hang with the A grade riders....interesting things for the B grade during winter I suspect...I had Kim Ford join me with a flat Tyre and looking for someone with a 10 speed Campag....Back tyre...but none were hiding in the bush for him to use...so i had the delightful pleasure of looking at his MERCUROCHROME TOE, with nail missing..."BEUDDYFUL"...well with the boys given 2 to go...

Russell still out there...Lockley not going to let the extra bit of Tarmac he picked up hold him back...Freiberg ever the gutsy ....junior JEDI not going to say DIE ....and Carreno also...it was basically these four up for the final sprint....
Han Solo: Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.

The Finishing FOUR!!! were Russell, Lockely, Carreno & Freiberg....A notable mention must also go to Mr Kent Senior was finished his second ride on that TOUGH COURSE...Well done...The DYNAMIC DUO were also there pushing pedals all the way to the line....Reynoldson, Hally ( the u/17 Sprinter one must keep an eye on during the JUNIOR TRACK NATIONALS in PERTH in APRIL)...Hawley, O'Leary...O'Donoghue...Rawlings, Tulky, Mick Russell...David Shailer...

MEMORABLE QUOTES FOR THE NIGHT

[Princess Leia gets her first look at the Millennium Falcon.]

Princess Leia: You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought...talking about the bikes! Of course
Leia: Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?... Jordan van der Togt
Han Solo: Travelling through hyperspace ain't like dusting crops, boy. Brett Russell
Obi-wan Kenobi: Who's the more foolish, the fool, or the fool who follows him? Meyer boys (who proved everybody wrong)
C-3PO: We're doomed! Riggy...as he watched the Meyer boys dance into the sunset...
Obi-wan Kenobi: The Force can have a strong influence on a weak mind.
