The North West Veterans held their major feature race on Sunday.The Bruce Gowans Toyota Deloraine-Latrobe 60klm. race attracted 58 starters in ideal conditions.

Once again the frontmarkers made the most of their handicap to take out the major placings. Andrew Flanagan of George Town scored his first win in cycling. Flanagan, a former top runner broke away from his co markers near the half way mark to score a very convincing win.
