Harder Takes His Second Win

State and Club Time Trial Age Division Seven Champion Wolfgang Harder took out his second victory with the Southern Vets in the Club Handicap Event last weekend. Harder is having a fruitful year with victories and now has four major results to his name this season. His best tally was in 2003 when he took ten major places in the year although he was unlucky with four of these being second places. His two wins with the club and his State title make this his most rewarding year to date.

Harder was a clear winner a full three minutes ahead of the chasing pack that had a furious sprint for the line with leading club rider John Giles victorious on the line to take a well earned second and fastest time. He has widened the gap to rival James Russell who did not start this race. John Zoanetti, Paul Bell and Chris White took out the remaining places.
