Perry wins Tribute race

In cold but sunny conditions the St Lukes Health Veterans Club held the Harold Burgess Tribute race. The race held on Saturday at Bishopsbourne was a handicap over 51klms.

Jamie Perry and his fellow backmarkers made contact with the leaders inside the last 5klm.Peter Oliver put in a great breakaway attempt inside the last klm.but was run down right on the line by his flying fellow co markers. Perry made it a top day by also recording the fastest time and taking out the Harold Burgess Trophy.

June 27th racing will be over 41klm.starting at Longford at 10am. Entries by 9 45am.
