Super ride by Eddie

Super-Vet, 67 year-old Eddie Summers of Wynyard, put up a fantastic ride to win the St. Lukes Health Club race on Sunday. The race, which attracted 38 starters and was sponsored by the Deloraine Hotel, First National Real Estate and Seppensfelt Gift Shop, was held on a undulating 40km course on the back roads of Deloraine. Eddie and his co-markers put up a great ride to hold off former mountain bike champion John Gregory who put in a great effort from the scratch mark to take out fourth place.

Sunday July 18th racing will be at Longford starting at 10am. Riders are reminded that entries close this weekend for the Cascade Draught Quamby Classic to be held on Saturday 24th July starting at 1pm.
