President Boon takes popular win

The NWVCC on Sunday held its first feature race for the year. The race on a tough 60km course in the Latrobe area attracted over 40 starters. With sponsorship from Stephen Foster of Hillross Financial Devonport, four riders from the 15 minute bunch put up a great ride to hold off the backmarkers to win by less than 30 seconds. North West club President Steven Boon in his first major race since helping form the club three years ago scored a very popular victory.
