St. Lukes Health Veterans CC

Longford, December 7, 2003

By Michael Donovan

In a perfectly handicapped race, the St. Lukes Health Veterans held their second race in the Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees Christmas series at Longford on Sunday. From a field of 35, the front and backmarkers hit the line together making an exciting finish and a headache for the judges. The last race in the series will be held next Sunday in what will be the club's final race for the season. Veteran Cycling is looking forward to a big year in 2004 in which the National Veteran Road Titles will be held in Northern Tasmania.
