Treier claims fifth title

Estonia's best female cyclist Grete Treier (Gauss RDZ Ormu) won her fifth road race title on Saturday. The first attack was made by Laura Lepasalu (Tartu Ülikooli Akadeemiline Spordiklubi), who got clear from the main bunch on the first of five laps of the 15.2 km circuit.
Treier went alone from the group and caught Lepasalu before attacking herself as the final lap near. Treier won the title by 2.39 minutes ahead of Lepasalu while Liisa Ehrberg (CFC Spordiklubi) claimed third spot.
