Stage 4 - September 15: Varna - Slanchec Brjag, 119 km

Polish attack in vain

Today’s stage finished uphill and race leader Tomasz Kloczko tried to get rid of second placed Are Andresen in the steepest part. The Norwegian lost some 15 seconds but was assisted back by Christopher Myhre. Tomorrow’s 20 kilometre time trial will probably shake up the results list but there are six more stages after that before the final finish in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
