The seventh stage of the Baby Giro was a hilly one in the region of Marche. It started in Montegranaro and did a circuit there before doing a series of circuits around Tolentino before finishing in the town centre.

Again the pace was on and the main group was greatly reduced. On the last circuit, a group of 30 went clear over the climb, including Ben Johnson, Dave McPartland and all the leaders on GC. Dave tried an attack at one kilometre to go, but was brought back. Ben finished 14th while the winner for the second time in this Giro was Dainius Kairelis from the Cyber team.
