Warwickshire RC 10Saturday, May 22, 2004After several days off the bike with food poisoning Roger Iddles, Stourbridge CC, only decided on Saturday morning to ride the Warwickshire RC 10. But he'd recovered enough to thrash over the K37 nearly a minute faster than his nearest challenger, team-mate Nick Walford, and lead Stourbridge to another team victory, though the Wyre Forest trio were only 38 seconds behind. Mike Nicol, Wyre Forest, made the most of a handsome 13.15 allowance to walk away with the handicap. Despite emphatic warnings on the start sheet and at the HQ no fewer than ten riders (including otherwise fastest lady Suzanne Gavin, 25.50) were disqualified for cutting the corner on the Gorcott flyover at the turn.
