Kevin McInerney Road RaceDunlavin, Co. Wicklow, June 8, 2003By Tommy Campbell Sean Bracken of the Usher Irish Road Club, made up for the disappointment of having a major success last weekend in the Dunboyne Three Day by coming up trumps yesterday in Dunlavin, Co. Wicklow. Bracken made no mistake in the Kevin McInerney when he easily outsprinted a group who had virtually dominated the proceedings in the 56 mile cycling event held over four laps of a rather testing undulating in the immediate area of the Co. Wicklow village. Bracken lost out by a single second in the three day by virtue of tactics employed by the Irish team who got Fraser Duncan home in first place. It was all the sweeter for Bracken yesterday as he foiled Paul McMahon a member of that Irish team in the dash for the line.
