Once again B Grade fielded a strong line up with new member Oscar Thompson riding his first criterium. In perfect conditions the field stayed together for half the distance before riders dropped off the back one by one with the final sprint contested by five riders. In the wash up Adam Farrell was back in the winners circle pushed all the way by Thompson finishing just ahead of Kelly Gray third with Paul Slocombe fourth.
