Eighteen riders contested a 53km handicap race on the Glenaroua-Sugarloaf Creek course, starting and finishing at Tallarook.

Junior rider Tom Madden made easy work of the hilly course to record a great win from Warren Osborne and fastest rider, Alan Adams. Adams time was 1hour 23mins.
