Imessi does the job

A strong performance from the front markers on Sunday saw the Division 1 riders holding their ground and staying away from the chasing 'scratchies' in the Southern District Veterans and Ladies Cycling Club 57km handicap race sponsored by Preferred Powder Coatings. A well timed finish saw Filippo Imessi grab the win from Greg Berryman.

In Division 2 Peter Charos showed his strength in holding off the scratchies in a sprint finish to take the win from John Amos and Geoff Hillman. Strong riding from Michelle Mufford saw her again taking the prize for first unplaced female.
