Results and Reports from AustraliaPromoters wishing to submit results should send them to Cyclingnews Peel Cycling ClubTime Keeper's Time Trial, Rockingham, WA - Sunday, March 25, 2007The Peel Cycling Club completed their summer program for 2006/2007 with the Time Keeper's Time Trial which is a Handicap Event covering 32kms. In the wrap-up Joe Cox continued on with his good season producing a great effort to finish in top spot and awarded the perpetual trophy, while Tom Atkinson also found his rhythm with another stellar ride to finish second overall. Phil Diesel burnt up the bitumen posting the fastest time for the morning with a slick 48min 48sec ride and finishing third overall. Mark Roberts time was just over the 49min mark and Paul Slocombe posted a time under 54mins. In the supporting event over 16km Peter Moyses secured top spot with a strong effort to hold out Jim Matthews in second position while youngster Raymond Loly cruised over the distance in 26min 17sec. The clubs most senior rider Hal Burdon eased himself over the distance in 36min 16sec. The Club wound up the mornings event with a BBQ and awards for the Summer Series. The Club Criterium Rider of the Year Award went to Andrew Bennett who had a terrific season in the saddle while Tom Atkinson finished the series in second spot with Raymond Loly third ahead of Steve Ware fourth. Before the start of the winter program the Club will hold several social rides. The first will be on Sunday 1st April consisting of 85km, meeting at the Pinjarra Station at 9am and meandering its to Waroona and return.
